Personally I think the figures that places the right shoulder as a swing center is a big discredit to TGM.

There is zero lag pressure at impact in all of those illustrations and they go against the "sustain the lag pressure".

If you start to turn the shoulders around some point between the shoulders or perhaps even lower in the spine, you suddenly have a lot of lag pressure. But then you have to move the swing center in those illustrations.
