I've had lessons in the past, but none have been so thorough and explained in a way that I could really understand. This is what we covered today: --Flat left wrist, bent right wrist. --Flying wedge. --Waist bend. --Pressure points. --Right shoulder down plane. --If I hit the ball fat I've run out of my right arm. --If I hit the ball right I came up out of my posture and my right shoulder not down and through. I know I have a lot of work to do, and I need to be patient, but Drew has given me some tools to work with. Things feel different, much different. My stance feels more athletic, and when I implement the flying wedge, flat left wrist, and bent right wrist the results are startling. It feels...strange. I need to work on it regularly so it doesn't feels so strange but becomes second nature. Drew also gave me a copy of TGM! One last thing Drew taught me was the TGM secret handshake. By far it was the best lesson I've ever had. Drew is a master of his craft and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to learn the swing. Drew was a true gentleman and a consummate professional. I look forward to my next lesson...but not until I've worked on what we discussed! Hit the ball fat, it means too much right arm...the right arm outpacing the pivot. Hit the ball thin, hips/lower body have out paced the arms/right arm. Totally the opposite of what was mentioned.
