My Lesson With Drew. :-)
I had my lesson with Drew today. He's a real gentleman. He gave me something I haven't had in a long time in golf: hope. The man really knows the golf swing. I've had lessons in the past, but none have been so thorough and explained in a way that I could really understand. This is what we covered today:

--Flat left wrist, bent right wrist.
--Flying wedge.
--Waist bend.
--Pressure points.
--Right shoulder down plane.
--If I hit the ball fat I've run out of my right arm.
--If I hit the ball right I came up out of my posture and my right shoulder not down and through.

I know I have a lot of work to do, and I need to be patient, but Drew has given me some tools to work with. Things feel different, much different. My stance feels more athletic, and when I implement the flying wedge, flat left wrist, and bent right wrist the results are startling. It feels...strange. I need to work on it regularly so it doesn't feels so strange but becomes second nature. Drew also gave me a copy of TGM!

One last thing Drew taught me was the TGM secret handshake.

By far it was the best lesson I've ever had. Drew is a master of his craft and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to learn the swing. Drew was a true gentleman and a consummate professional. I look forward to my next lesson...but not until I've worked on what we discussed!

The decoder ring comes when you breal 90!
Sean, geometry is one of God's way of telling you you are never ever lost or alone, even on a golf course!

Isn't it amazing how naturally and logically the pieces of the geometric concepts fit together!

Too bad it's still snowing in Boston, LMAO!

Sheer grooviness!

Hit the ball fat, it means too much right arm...the right arm outpacing the pivot.

Hit the ball thin, hips/lower body have out paced the arms/right arm.

Totally the opposite of what was mentioned.

It feels different, but it feels right. It's a foreign move for me and will take some getting used to.

The snow is melting.

Sean next time you meet with Drew can you please give him a lesson on how to upload video to the internet...........that man is sitting on some valuable footage and knowledge. Stuff the golf world needs to know. People are suffering out there without a "motion that makes the shot".

The world wants to know........."who is Drew Chapman?" And why is he saying those terrible things about Mike O.?

The Anatomy of Sean's Lesson
In Tommy Armour’s landmark book “How to Play Your Best Golf All the Time” he states that “there are at least six people who want to be taught golf to every one that wants to learn”. Fortunately for me, Sean fell into the latter category. He is a true seeker, every astute, articulate and a fine person.
With Sean’s permission, the following is brief outline of some of the things we discussed:
His athletic background and physical condition.
His Golfing Goals
The Four Prerequisites that should take place during the lesson.
Making changes and their different sensations.
The Geometry of the Circle and the player’s responsibility in creating a Three Dimensional Impact as well as the Clubs responsibility.
The three Functions of the Club and their corresponding Imperatives.
Basic Motion.
Impact Fix, setting the Flying Wedges, and their relationship to the Address and Balance.
We determined that Sean is a Hitter based on his own beliefs as well as his Loading Action at the Top and his active use of the Right Arm.
The normal condition of the Arms, especially maintaining the Flying Wedges at least until Follow Through.
Homer’s simple idea of the Right Forearm Angle of Approach.
We studied pictures of great ball strikers from the past.
The precise use and feel of certain Pressure Points (Direct Drive #1 and Indirect Drive #3)
The motion of the Right shoulder down plane and the avoidance of running out of my right arm because of a Flat Downstroke Shoulder Turn and its resulting Clubhead Throwaway.
How Over-Acceleration Kills Alignments and Lag.
Drills, Drills, Drills
The TGM secret handshake.
Not booking another lesson until certain things happen.

I am sure we talked about more than I have listed. Above all else, Sean hit some beautiful shots that sounded and looked different, which made us both happy .

I am not sure what you mean DG. What did he mention that was totally opposite?
