I kept racking my brain trying to imagine how Soccer athleticism translates into golfing Alignments. My kids are good athletes. I wouldn't park my cart in front of them if they were hitting.

And while I honor his military service, I was underwhelmed by my Yiddish brother who has lost his edge playing country club golfers for lots of money and probably winning with pars or bogies.

I win my money on pars and bogeys too, ain't nothing wrong with that I know literally nothing of soccer (they call their field a 'pitch', c'mon) so I can't really say anything to how they're similar. Maybe lots of lower body awareness??

I like winning a hole with a double-bogey, if I can, NC. What I'm saying is that really good players on television shows should have some pride or should go take lessons from Lynn and if he's too busy, they should take lessons from the LBG guys especially if their reputation is for being a hustler.

NC, what is the quote about Trevino you use? What does it mean?

Have you seen "The Invention of Lying?"

The Trevino quote I have is from Happy Gilmore. The part where Happy and Shooter argue over who's going to play in Chubb's honor, Shooter says, "yeah, and Grizzly Adams had a beard." Then Trevino is in the trees nearby and says, "Grizzly Adams did have a beard." One of the all-time great golf movies But yeah, I'm sure the guys on the show, or even on the Tour, aren't thrilled with winning with bogeys and such, but they'll take anything they can get

To each his own. I hate reality shows and despise the big break.I have yet to find any of the contestants even slightly interesting. I have made a promise to myself, no more reality shows unless everyone in them is naked.

Please, not naked.
Rather than keep showing those stupid reality shows, how about the old Julius Boros shows with him playing golf all over the world?
My persimmons are looking like they are edging toward the door trying to get to a golf course. I think I'll help them out Monday.

I have now lost 20 lbs. of the 45 lbs. I need to lose according to my doctor so I'm feeling quite a bit lighter. It's a bit strange they are not showing an all-female Big Break during the warm weather months given beach season and all and the majority of golfers being men.

But maybe this is part of the growing female golfing movement strategy of the game of golf. I know Dodger is a golf stud-muffin, like NC, and Ben so it surprises me that the competition aspects of the Big-Break fantasy. We know of course that this is blended whiskey not 18 year old single malt.

Any guesses on who will be out this week?

BTW, congratulations to Ian Poulter on winning the Volvo World Match Play Championship.
