LynnBlakeGolf: Then, and ONLY then, "go willingly into that good night". Meanwhile . . . Good morning, everybody! http://t.co/AbWmUwfN
Mr. Yoda's weight loss and diet reminds me of a chance meeting I had with a modern day wild man. At the time, I lived in a subdivision full of large old growth trees close to a rural area. A storm came through blowing over some and breaking others. The trees were in a precarious position above my house in such a way no bucket truck could reach. The guy running the tree removal company said "we will have to get Ole Jimmy to go up tomorrow". I thought he was talking about a different truck until Ole Jimmy showed up the next day like some kind of animal being lead in. The other guys on the crew were afraid of him and gave him plenty of room. They whispered to me he was crazy and might do anything. He didnt say anything. Just took of his shirt and went 50 feet up into the trees like a 150 lb squirrel loaded with chainsaws and ropes. I have never seen anything before or since like the way he looked. His torso was shockingly like medical drawings you find of the muscles without the skin for identication purposes. When the job was over, I had to get the story on "Ole Jimmy". So I asked him if tree climbing kept him in shape. He said, "no, huntin does" and just walked off like he didnt want to talk to me. The owner of the tree company later told me he thought Jimmy was an undiagnosed autistic and just didnt interact in society. He said Jimmy lived in a small one room cabin without electric or running water and lived almost entirely on deer meat he killed himself. He said that when he needed Jimmy for a job, he would just walk in a area close to Jimmy's cabin and Jimmy would find him.
LynnBlakeGolf: After a "Thank you", we now enjoy a new server response. Instead of "You're welcome", it is "No problem". How much better, "My pleasure!"
LynnBlakeGolf: "@RickMurphyGolf: @LynnBlakeGolf nice pic. Next time breath as you take the pic" That was the whole point, Rick. To keep breathing!" lol!
LynnBlakeGolf: "@CoachKuhnGolf: @LynnBlakeGolf Why is "you're welcome" or "my pleasure" so difficult?" A lhabit that can & should be changed. Aka manners.
