The back nine at Glenn Abbey is something special. As is the weird amount of rain we are getting up here. I blame not Global Warming but you. Is it one of your experiments gone wild again? Like the time your assistant disappeared.
Fine though it is the course Jack built has never really been adopted as one of our greats up here. It was our first stadium course and coincided with the decline of what was once a near major tournament. The CPGA is now desperately trying to rectify things by finding a rota of old and new courses around the country. Next years Open is at the venerable St George's in Toronto, a Stanley Thompson masterpiece that may drive the pros crazy if the greens are fast. Please schedule you experiments next year during the Kemper, the Sammy Davis or the Glenn Campbell.
