You said a +2 path and a face that is -2 TO THAT PATH, which makes it zero to target. That balls starting barely right and drawing left of target correct? Draws that draw to target have to be hit with a face that's open to target but closed to path........
Tough to say without A of A numbers though I would think it would affect path
Yep,sorry, those numbers would confuse those only interested in trackman data accuracy... To get a draw – the face angle value has to be less than the club path value (club head closed compared to club path). If the face angle is 1⁄2*club path – the shot will as a rule of thumb be fading/drawing back on target line.
Thank you, tho! It was not my intention to confuse... but, alas, I've done it again.
Back @ the thread topic - I know early release is part and parcel to this deal... and maybe that's all there is to it; but I feel there's an extra "wobble" in there somewhere, that would shed light on the mechanism driving the results.
Speaking of results - I remember hearing, in one of the videos DG so graciously shared, Mr. Tomasello refer to "all kinds of bad things" happening when you cock the right wrist. I would have loved to have heard him speak further on the subject.
